'DONDA' was first revealed on Saturday night, when Kanye tweeted and deleted the album’s track-list and release date. Just a few days later, he shared a new track-list with the same Friday release date.

On June 12, he also shared a snippet of a new song titled “DONDA" on Twitter. The album and song titles are a reference to his late mother’s first name. Donda West passed away due to complications from surgery in November 2007. Kanye shared a close relationship with his mother, as shown on songs like 2005’s “Hey Mama.” His now-defunct creative agency, DONDA, was also named after her.

We are not certain as of when will the album drop. We are all aware that he is going through one of his manic episodes and his family is trying to get him help. On Monday night, he wrote a slew of alarming tweets that punctuated an already busy month; followed by accusations to his wife Kim Kardashian and his mother-in-law Kris.

Kim shared a statement this afternoon regarding Ye's mental health via her Instagram stories where she talks about Ye’s mental health and the cultural stigma of bipolar disorder.

She also stresses the importance of being understanding and having love and compassion for people with mental illness as well as their loved ones. She encourages the media to be compassionate and to have empathy with her family to help get through with the situation. We hope the West family get through this rough situation very soon.
