'It's been a great decade'.

The Maryland hip-hip artist revealed his future plans in a good-news, bad-news message, which caught almost everyone by surprise.

"Officially announcing my #retirement with the release of 'No Pressure' executive produced by No I.D. July 24. It's been a great decade. Now it's time to be a great father."

reads a tweet from #Logic official account.

If he does go out, he'll do so at the very top of his game. The "Homicide" rapper (real name Sir Robert Bryson Hall II ) has three No. 1s on the Billboard 200 and two top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100. His 2017 number "1-800-273-8255" featuring Alessia Cara and Khalid went to No. 3 and was featured as one of Billboard's "songs that defined the decade".

Named after the best way to reach to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, "1-800-273-8255" scored a #Grammy nomination for song of the year and the rapper got a spot performing it on the night. Logic revealed he was expecting his first child to his then-fiancee Brittney Noell (the pair are now married, after he finalized his divorce to Jessica Andrea), using the platform of the "No Pressure" song to get word out.

No Pressure is out next Friday (July 24). It's the followup to 2019's chart-topping Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.
